Dy foshnja të tjera në inkubatorë vdiqën për shkak të kequshqyerjes dhe mungesës së pajisjeve mjekësore në Rripin e Gazës, ku Izraeli ka vazhduar sulmet prej muajsh dhe ka shkaktuar “katastrofë të madhe humanitare” duke penguar hyrjen e ndihmave.

Në deklaratën e tij për Anadolu, pediatri i njësisë së kujdesit intensiv të spitalit “Kemal Advan”, Samir Lebid, i vendosur në Beit Lahiya në veri të Gazës dha informacione për situatën.

“Ditën e parë të Ramazanit, 2 foshnja vdiqën në spital për shkak të kequshqyerjes”, tha ai.

Duke theksuar se këto vdekje kanë ndodhur si pasojë e pengimit të Izraelit për hyrjen e ushqimeve dhe furnizimeve mjekësore në veri të Rripit të Gazës, Lebid tha se kequshqyerja ka ndodhur si pasojë e mungesës së burimeve ushqyese si qumështi, i cili është ushqim bazë për foshnjat, veçanërisht foshnjat e lindura para kohe.

Paralajmërimi se “mund të vdesin më shumë fëmijë”

Lebid paralajmëroi se nëse situata aktuale vazhdon, “do të ndodhë fatkeqësi mjekësore që do të rezultojë në vdekjen e më shumë fëmijëve për shkak të kequshqyerjes”.

Mjeku palestinez u bëri thirrje të gjitha institucioneve ndërkombëtare dhe Kryqit të Kuq që “të ndërmarrin veprime të menjëhershme për të shpërndarë ushqime dhe furnizime mjekësore për njerëzit në veri të Gazës”.

Me vdekjen e 2 foshnjave të tjera në ditën e parë të Ramazanit, numri i vdekjeve nga uria dhe kequshqyerja në Rripin e Gazës u rrit në 27.
