Kryeministri Hristijan Mickoski dërgoi apel deri te politikanët, por edhe qytetarët, që të mos bien pre e provokimeve nga pala bullgare. Pas reagimit të MPJ-së bullgare, në të cilën thuhet se kryeministri Mickoski me idetë e rinegocimit vetëm po e largon vendin nga Bashkimi Europian, ai u përgjigj se politikanët në Sofje po mundohen ta fusin këtë temë në periudhën parazgjedhore.
“Politikanët atje do të bëjnë gjithçka që të na përfshijnë në retorikën e tyre parazgjedhore dhe kështu të provokojnë një reagim nga ana jonë me të cilin do të përpiqen të na portretizojnë para miqve tanë në bashkësinë ndërkombëtare se ne jemi të këqijtë dhe se ata janë të mirët”, tha Mickoski.
Mickoski tha se Maqedonia do të vazhdojë me reformat në vend dhe se ndërkohë pritet edhe përkrahja e miqve në rrugën eurointegruese.
“Nëse ka dëshirë, ka edhe mënyrë. Unë pres që miqtë tanë të BE-së përfundimisht të bisedojnë me ata të cilët vendosin pengesa joparimore, që të mundemi ta fillojmë procesin e aplikimit të negociatave dhe atëherë do të varet prej nesh”, deklaroi Mickoski.
Mickoski paraprakisht theksoi se do të presë që të formohet qeveri e qëndrueshme politike në Bullgari me të cilën do të mund të bisedohet për zhbllokimin e procesit eurointegrues dhe përmendi mundësinë për aneks të propozimit francez gjë që nuk hasi në mbështetje te qeveria teknike në Sofje.
